Nimble Fingers on the Prairie Presents County with Donation
Nimble Fingers on the Prairie’s President, Marybeth Potts met with employees of Traverse County Social Services, Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 and presented the county with one hundred thirty five knit hat, scarves and mittens. Additionally, Nimble Fingers had an impromptu toy drive and also presented the county with eighty toys for the local Toys for Tots program.
Nimble Fingers on the Prairie is a Minnesota nonprofit organization, located in west central Minnesota, whose goal is to provide Minnesota children with hand knit hats, scarves and mittens. Volunteers for Nimble Fingers take on many roles from gathering donations of new yarn, knitting, distribution to local organizations to benefit children, free knitting instructions, etc.
