Nimble Fingers President, Marybeth Potts, presented WCMCA with 560 hand knit/crocheted items on April 21, 2010.
These items included hats, mittens, scarves, gloves, blankets, lap robes, sweaters, slippers, and afghans for children living in poverty in west central Minnesota.
On April 23, an additional group of infant wear was donated to Health Resources, an organization for new mothers, in Fergus Falls, MN. This group included knit and crochet baby blankets, fleece blankets, sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves.
We would like to particularly thank the following contributors:
United Methodist Church of Alexandria's Childrens Group who made us 21 beautiful fleece blankets for children and babies.
All those anonymous donors who work diligently for our cause!
